A simple guide

HOW IT WORKS

Ownimals lets a community own 100 % of a digital 3D character. Each character is split into 10.000 collectible shares — and there will never be more than 100 %. Here is exactly how buying, owning and trading works.

1

A character is split into 100 %

Every character on Ownimals — like Blue the Blue Hippo or Goldy the Golden Alpaca — exists as exactly 100 %, divided into 10.000 units. When you buy units, you own a real, recorded share of that character. A digital share is a collectible entry in our database representing a share of one fictional 3D character. It is not a company share, security or financial instrument, and it carries no voting rights, dividends or claim against any company.

Each character has its own separate market: its own 10.000 units, its own price, its own listings, offers and transactions. Nothing is shared between characters except the platform rules.

2

Phase 1 — the first sale (fixed price)

When a character is released, all 100 % are sold for a fixed price per 1 % that is published on that character's page. For Blue that is € 10 per 1 %, for Goldy € 100 per 1 %. During this phase the estimated value of a character equals the fixed start price × 100 — so if you own 50 % of Blue, your holding is worth € 500, exactly what you paid.

You can buy as little or as much as is still available, in 1 % steps. The first sale ends the moment 100 % are community-owned.

3

Phase 2 — the owner-to-owner market

Once 100 % of a character belongs to the community, the free market opens. Now owners decide their own prices. You can list your share publicly on the marketplace for anyone to buy, or send a direct offer to a specific owner from the owners page. Owners can accept, decline, or counter.

When an offer is accepted, the shares transfer immediately and the proceeds land in the seller's wallet.

4

How the value is calculated

During the first sale, the estimated value is simply the fixed start price × 100. After the character is sold out, the estimated value is derived from the average price of the last 10 completed resales (per 1 % × 100). Pending offers alone do not move the value — only completed, paid trades count.

Because prices are set by owners in the free market, the value of a character can go up or down. Past trades are no guarantee of future value.

5

Fees, wallet and payouts

A platform fee of 5 % applies to every owner-to-owner sale and is deducted from the seller's proceeds. During the first sale there is no resale fee.

Proceeds from sales are credited to your Ownimals wallet. When you buy, your available wallet balance is used first and only the remaining amount is charged through Stripe. Payouts to your bank account run automatically through Stripe after you complete a one-time identity and bank verification (Stripe onboarding). The minimum payout is € 20.

6

Ownership that is real and transparent

Every purchase, listing and offer is recorded on the platform's database with row-level security, so only you can access and manage your own holdings. Prices are calculated server-side, so the price you see is always the price you pay. You can follow every trade in real time on the live activity feed.

You can set a public username so the community knows who owns what — or stay as "Anonymous Owner". Your email is never shown publicly.
